Homes of Hope April 2007 Tijuana, Mexico Individuals from United Van Lines head office and UVL members across the country joined Youth With A Mission to build two homes for families. Paul Wielens, Highland’s CEO, and his family were proud to represent Highland and had an amazing experience working closely with the UVL team to make a diffenece in the lives of two underprivileged families.
Canstruction® February 2007 Calgary, Alberta Fluor Canada, founding sponsor of Canstruction® Calgary, approached Highland to sponsor this community event by using our expertise with the initial setup. Highland was proud to participate as a sponsor and helped to unload and deliver over 40,000 cans at Calgary City Hall
Food Bank January 2006 Calgary, Alberta The team in Calgary donated their time at the Calgary Food Bank on January 11 th, 2006. Twenty-two employees sorted 10,000 lbs of food.
Terry Fox Run September 2005 Edmonton, Alberta On September 17th, 2005 staff members donned pink t-shirts in support of the Terry Fox Run. Our team, Movers and Shakers , raised $2500.00 on their first annual walk.
University Hospital Foundation Edmonton, Alberta Highland has been a major sponsor of the University Hospital Foundation’s Festival of Trees for over 15 years, assisting with setup, tear down and delivery of the trees.
